Psychological Early Intervention
Timely, confidential support for workers experiencing early psychological symptoms.
Early intervention services are available to support workers experiencing early psychological symptoms through our partnership with our SIRA-registered mental health support partner. Treatment can be delivered virtually, over the phone, or in person. When temporary work amendments are recommended, these are communicated to and coordinated by our onsite physiotherapists, who are return-to-work trained and ensure all adjustments are implemented safely and appropriately. This integrated approach addresses concerns early, before they escalate or progress to a formal workers compensation claim.
Services can also be arranged through a local clinic or alternate provider upon request. If a worker is unable to continue with their current duties, the case can be managed in-house: our return-to-work trained physiotherapists communicate directly with managers, formalise temporary adjustments, monitor progress, and support a safe, staged return to full duties without the worker needing to seek external support.
Confidentiality is maintained at all times between the treating mental health practitioner and the worker. Only information that the workplace reasonably needs to know — such as safety considerations or impacts on work capacity — is shared. Any additional personal or clinical information is not disclosed without the worker’s explicit consent.
